[vos-d] Can we do Summer of Code?

Yeah, late thought, the applications close Monday morning.  But what do
you think of putting a project or two on SoC?

I can imagine some of the more hairy and reasonably self-contained items
on the todo list as SoC projects.  Full skeletal animation, full physics,
VRML, and scene graphs all sound viable.
