It's been quite, but I have been busy.  Unfortunately VOS development got 
a bit stuck on some bugs in the gcc compiler on Windows (mingw) and having 
beat my head against it for a few weeks I have given up, and am now 
working on Visual Studio support.  Once things work nicely in visual 
studio, I will finally (finally finally) be able to get back to actually 
deveoping new features in VOS itself.

Cross-platform support has sucked up an amazing amount of time, but I hope 
in the end it will be worth it in being able to better support new 
developers in the future.
