Peter keeps a debian directory in our revision control.  I updated it
myself for the latest (0.23) release.  It will probably need some more
updating now, since Peter folded Ter'angreal back into the vos tree. 
Other than that, it should be working.  So it shouldn't be too hard :-)

Last I checked (0.23), the dependencies were right, or at least they
worked for me on an up-to-date Ubuntu dapper pre-release.

So I'd say, get your bzr checkout, tweak the stuff under debian, and once
you get it working, you can send us patches, or publish your branch so
Peter can merge your changes into the mainline.

It would be nice to have the vos packages in the official repositories,
even though I'm not using any Debian derivatives anymore.
