Would you suggest to package 0.23 or a checkout the current development
version (is it stable)? When is 0.24 scheduled to be be released (one of
Peters messages suggested at the earliest in Oct.)?

The debian package for bazaar said, that it is no longer maintained
upstream, however, bzr-ng did not say such a thing. Is bzr still alive?
