[vos-d] Introduction

Hi

I've just signed up to this list, and I'd like to get involved with the
project, so I thought I'd write a short introduction.

I'm based in Tring, just North-West of London in England. I work in Business
Intelligence and program in VBA, C, Perl, and have done a fair bit of work
with XML, CSS etc.

I guess it's fairly inevitable that the business model with individual
servers will shift on to a distributed "free" approach, I guess vested
interests don't want to see that happen, as it would torpedo a fair few
artificial economies, but I want to get involved now and make it happen. Was
a bit of the cyberpunk fanboy in my youth. :)
