[vos-d] Introduction

Hi Ben, Welcome.
At this point the project is moving in a few different directions,
though pretty slowly.
Let us know if you have problems building/running any of the programs,
or have any questions about VOS or about the different
applications/subprojects we're working on. Or come visit
irc.freenode.net #vos to chat.
We always have a ton of "To Do" items.
